Show Disney “Pirates & Princesses”

It is with great excitement that I present you my new film for Disneyland Paris. This is my 5th collaboration with Disney Broadcast teams that thanks once again for trusting me after films for "HyperSpace Mountain", "Star Tours", "Enter the Magic" and "Belle’s Enchanted Weekend"! This time I was asked to make the film commemorating the Pirates & Princesses festival: a big interactive show that takes place 4 times a day, where the camp of the princesses and the pirates start from both ends of the Parade road, on their respective char, and parade, taking visitors with them, until they meet for a duel on the Central Plaza in front of the Castle Sleeping Beauty. The visitors are then invited to choose a camp, and to follow one of the two choreographies, that of the pirates or the princesses, in the company of many Disney characters. We shot a great day with our two little actors of 7 years Dan and Soraya and the rhythm of the parade of dancers and characters pirates and princesses. A great organization feat with only 4 passages of 15min to have the children and the parade at the same time! Thanks again to my first assistant Wilfried Vial! A big pressure also for the artistic director Eric Sartori freshly come from Brazil to work at Disneyland Paris with whom I had the pleasure to work all the staging. But as always at Disney is the good mood that prevailed throughout this shoot. I once again had the pleasure of working with Gregory Tanielian on this colorful Disney music composition!
C'est avec une grande excitation que je vous présente mon nouveau film pour Disneyland Paris. Il s'agit de ma 5ème collaboration avec les équipes de Disney Broadcast que remercie encore une fois de m’avoir fait confiance après films pour "HyperSpace Mountain", "Star Tours", "Enter the Magic" et "Belle’s Enchanted Weekend" ! Cette fois on m'a demandé de réaliser le film commémoratif du festival Pirates & Princesses : un grand spectacle interactif qui a lieu 4 fois par jour, où le camp des princesses et celui des pirates partent des deux extrémités de la route de la Parade, sur leur char respectif, et défilent, entraînant les visiteurs avec eux, jusqu’à leur rencontre pour un duel sur le Central Plaza devant le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant. Les visiteurs sont ensuite invités à choisir un camp, et à suivre l’une des deux chorégraphies, celle des pirates ou des princesses, en compagnie de nombreux personnages Disney. Nous avons tourné toute une grande journée avec nos deux petits comédiens de 7 ans Dan et Soraya et au rythme de la parade des danseurs et des personnages pirates et princesses. Une grosse prouesse d'organisation avec seulement 4 passages de 15min pour avoir les enfants et la parade en même temps ! Merci encore à mon premier assistant Wilfried Vial ! Une grosse pression aussi pour le directeur artistique Eric Sartori fraîchement venu du Brésil pour travailler chez Disneyland Paris avec qui j'ai eu le plaisir de travailler toute la mise en scène. Mais comme toujours chez Disney c'est la bonne humeur qui a régné durant tout ce tournage. J'ai eu encore une fois le plaisir de travailler avec Gregory Tanielian sur cette composition musicale Disney haute en couleurs !
